Elliott Smith - Miss Misery

괜찮은 영화였다, 고 하겠다. 정말 좋은 영화야! 라고는 안 하겠다. 대사가 좋았던 영화라고 하겠다. 모든 직업은 고귀한 거잖아, 라는 질문에 참 적절하게 답해준 영화라고 하겠다. 네 잘못이 아니야, 라는 말이 대단한 영화라고 하겠다. 벤 에플렉의 얘기가 참 인상적이었던 영화라고 하겠다. 굿 윌 헌팅 얘기다.

이 영화에 대해서는 다음에 다시 한 번 적고 싶다.

맷 데이먼은 천재와 어울리지 않았으나, 윌 헌팅과 잘 어울렸다.

로빈 윌리엄스는 사연을 안고 늙어버린 키티 선생 같았다. 좋았다.

벤 에플렉의 대사는 참 멋졌다. 윌과 친구들의 미묘한 대사도 행동도, 그래서 아름다웠다.

아름다운 것들 중 지나간 것들은 아프다. 스틸컷처럼.

오늘은 노래를 듣자. 영화의 OST로 사용된, 앨리엇 스미스Elliott Smith의 Miss Misery. 가사가 인상적이고, 개인적으로는 앨리엇 스미스의 얼굴과 잘 매치가 안 되는 곡이다. 이 시절의 노래들이 좋다. 제프 버클리도 좋고, 좀 더 늦지만 데미안 라이스도 좋고.
